Ahlsell has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in Intec Pumper AS. The acquisition strengthens Ahlsell’s position in the HVAC and Water & Sewage market. The company’s annual sales amount to just over MNOK 200.
Intec Pumper offers its customers complete solutions for pumping water and wastewater, as well as customer-unique solutions for prefabrication of pumping stations. The company has a broad customer portfolio consisting of contractors, road and tunnel builders, plumbers, fish farmers and offshore and marine customers in both the public and private sectors. In addition to offices, outlet, warehouse, prefabrication and a service workshop at Vinterbro outside Oslo, the company has establishments in Biri and Bergen.
For both Intec Pumper’s and Ahlsell’s customers, the acquisition helps to create an even broader offering. Intec Pumper’s customers will have access to Ahlsell’s extensive product range and superb logistics offering, while Ahlsell’s customers will experience even more that Ahlsell is a full range supplier.
The acquisition is subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority.
