Ahlsell acquires Luneco AB and develops its offer in welding and robot automation
Ahlsell Sverige AB has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Luneco AB, a distributor of welding machines, welding consumables and protective equipment. Luneco also offers and installs robotic solutions for automated welding. The company has nine employees and a turnover of 35 MSEK annually. Luneco has a shop, warehouse, and workshop in Eksjö as well as a service organization.
Through the acquisition of Luneco, Ahlsell strengthens its offer in welding and robot automation and gains access to expanded competence, a local workshop and a service organization. In addition, Ahlsell broadens its position on the market and can offer an even stronger overall solution for industrial customers.
Closing is expected to take place in December 2023.
